Going to See Momo e no Tegami at TIFF!

I went to buy movie tickets for Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) yesterday, and ended up waiting for 8 hours. Stupid TIFF’s checkout system never works on the first day of single ticket sale, so I had to be there in person to line up… Apparently, those who didn’t have to fansub on Friday night started camping out from the night before. It was more than enough time to finish reading a novel, so I started writing a blog post about how Canada is a third world country, and how I hated living here, but my anger cooled off by now (plus it’s too much work typing it out), so I won’t have to bore you about it.

I’m glad none of the 5 Japanese movies I wanted to see sold out this year though. At least I didn’t waste my Saturday for nothing ๐Ÿ™‚
And yes, I plan to write reviews for all the films I see at the event this year too!

  1. Have a good time at TIFF!

Actually it’s very interesting why you hate Canada. I have an image of beautiful peaceful country in my mind…

    • Thanks, I will ๐Ÿ™‚

Canada is a great place for vacation, but it just sucks compared to US or Japan to live in.

      • Can you name some major disadvantages please?

Sorry for this awkward persistence, it’s just that I’m looking for a country to immigrate. USA is crowded and filthy, Japan is expensive, Europe has high barriers, and Canada seems just fine from where I am ๐Ÿ˜€
