With the fabulous max episode last week, I did expect things to slow down a bit, but this could be the weakest episode so far.
Gotou Keiji, you disappoint me. This is the ugliest episode thus far… I guess not everyone has what it takes to handle all major production roles by himself.
The song played in the music box was Dvorak’s Largo from Symphony No. 9, also known as Goin’ Home. While this piece of music is commonly played in the West during funerals in remembrance of the dead, the title is usually taken literally in Japan. It’s a common BGM used to announce the closure of a facility, usually schools, department stores, zoos etc… literally telling people to go home.
Also notice the leaf bud logo as seen in OP is associated with Natsume.
Greek mythology mixed with Eastern mythology (of red thread). Read Theseus and Ariadne for details. It seems like Natsume’s leading Kanba into a labyrinth though.
Apparently, Natsume was one of Kanba’s ex-GFs.
Yep, she is. Kanba is the one tracing his memory in this episode.
Pigeon Blood is the color of the highest-grade ruby. Or perhaps referencing this anime to Shoma (lol).
It’s good there’s some new developments, but I miss Ringo’s crazy antics. Not much to say about this episode, really.
